Hi all! For those of you who are here for the first time, welcome to Diversify With Gold webpage. My name is Naresh, a gold saver since 2018 and an authorized Public Gold dealer since 2019. On this page, I shall share how I got to know Public Gold and subsequently led me on this exciting journey.

My interest in precious metals grew as I was in my undergraduate days and got slowly developed when I bought silver coins. I chose silver due to its lower cost, comparatively (there is a famous saying that silver is poor man’s gold). I was excited with their looks and the potential upside these metals have.

I got to know about Public Gold in late 2018 by chance during an exhibition by Pos Malaysia. I got intrigued with the gold bars they had on display and bought my first gold bar by Public Gold (though the brand was not my concern at that time). It was a 10-gram bar, as shown below:

A few months later, I stumbled upon a book, written by Tuan Zulkifli Shafie, entitled ‘Misi Bebas Hutang‘ which translates to ‘Debt-Free Mission’. I got interested and continued reading and that was when I realized that I have been a customer of Public Gold unknowingly due to my purchase of gold bar few months prior.

Then, I bought another book by the same author, entitled ‘Wang Emas‘ which translates to ‘Gold Money’. In this book, more in-depth concepts of gold savings/investments were exposed and I became increasingly aware of how important gold is in one’s financial portfolio.

Next, I began my journey by becoming an active dealer by locking up a dealership promotion, primarily to take advantage of the benefit as a Dealer. Throughout this duration, I have seen amazing growth in both my grams of gold as well as the value of my savings, using the concepts of gold savings I learned from my mentor. I got shocked and realized that gold savings is indeed an excellent form of wealth accumulation. Therefore, I became determined to share this concept with more people so that they too can take advantage of this asset class and accumulate their wealth for the future.
